“The human form captivates me. From postures, to expressions, and their actions, the human figure emanates little hints of identity resulting in enticement or repulsion.
Drawn to the slightest details, I find myself with an obsession to relate and understand the subject matter beyond its physical level. Imageries of children are a constant in my artworks, subsequently adopting the role of puppets that help narrate my stories and at the same time taking on personas of complex mentalities. While playing author and addressing issues of the human mind, Its means of understanding and idiosyncrasies, I use my canvas as a means for a stage, engulfing in issues of reality, digesting, reinterpreting and presenting it to the audience as a fantastical tale to be contemplated.”
